I knew his mother and she was kind to me, though I don't think she approved of me. I never met his sisters or Jon, I only heard of them.
Jon has been good to me, but I don't know him very well yet. I know better now to blindly put my trust in anyone. Even my own family.
Do you understand that feeling?
